An experience designed for participation.
Imagine Realities developed an XR and 360° media experience to support Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s touring program and strengthen its engagement with schools and regional communities across Queensland.
The solution extends orchestral education beyond the concert hall, giving users an immersive way to explore instruments, understand the orchestra, and engage with interactive learning experiences in event and classroom settings.
The experience extended orchestral education beyond a traditional presentation by combining 360° media, interactive web content and spatial AR demonstrations. Visitors and students could explore instruments, encounter educational mini-games and engage with content in classroom and public-event settings. The project shows how immersive media can support touring programs and regional outreach while keeping the learning experience approachable for different audiences.
From interaction to experience.

Creative idea → working experience.
The brief
Extend the orchestra’s educational reach beyond live performances and make learning about instruments more immersive for schools and regional communities.
What we built
The experience combined life-sized 3D instruments, spatial AR, 360° media and game-based learning to let users explore orchestral content interactively.
What it enabled
A digital education format designed to complement touring activity and give audiences another way to explore and understand the orchestra.
